About The Position
This position will be located at The Haven in Dothan, Alabama. The role involves various activities to meet consumer needs, including meal preparation, facility cleaning, and assisting with daily tasks. The technician will also teach group and individual basic living skills, provide transportation using a system vehicle when required, ensure efficient facility operation, assist with medication under nurse supervision with MAC certification, and complete required documentation using an electronic health record system.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must meet insurance eligibility to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age), Good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
Responsibilities
