Mental Health Technician - Night Shift
About The Position
Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a 120-bed behavioral health facility serving Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona area. It provides inpatient and outpatient mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults. Full-time Mental Health Technicians work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide clerical and patient care activities for patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. They help manage behavioral problems, facilitate education and activity groups, and participate actively in the treatment team. Day and night shifts are available. Candidates interested in working on the specialized Military Unit or Women's Unit should inform their interviewer.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance, or ability to obtain one.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and patient care activities in the treatment and care of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
