About The Position
Kandela Recovery Center is a Mental Health Residential Facility. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help support our team of Mental Health Behavior Technicians. The successful candidates will be responsible for implementing appropriate mental health plans for patients and helping them manage their behaviors in a positive manner. We're seeking an individual who is able to work quickly, accurately and independently to ensure a productive environment.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass Level II background.
- Must have a Valid Drivers License.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support patients’ daily activities, safety, and well-being.
- Document patient behaviors, progress, and incidents accurately and timely.
- Lead or co-facilitate therapeutic groups, recreational activities, and skill-building sessions.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary.
- Escort and supervise patients during appointments, outings, or transitions.
- Encourage healthy routines, self-care, and adherence to treatment goals.
- Communicate observations and concerns to the clinical team.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
- Serve as a positive role model through professional conduct and healthy boundaries.
