About The Position

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a passionate and reliable Mental Health Technician (Client Coordinator) to join their team. This role is crucial in empowering individuals on their journey to recovery by providing support, treatment, and hope. The position is based in Reston, VA, and involves working the evening shift, Tuesday through Saturday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. AMFM Healthcare is dedicated to preventing tragedies caused by untreated mental illness through evidence-based treatment, personalized care, and a healing environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checks
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must meet car insurance eligibility requirements (Minimum of 23 years old, at least 4 years of licensed experience, no driving infractions within last 4 years)
• Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs
• Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff
• Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients with daily activities, ensuring a structured and supportive environment.
• Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments.
• Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Work with the nursing team to oversee medication self-administration.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities.
• Lead and document recovery-focused group sessions.
• Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety drills, and respond to crises as needed.
