About The Position

Join AMFM Healthcare as a Mental Health Technician (Client Coordinator) and play a crucial role in empowering individuals on their journey to recovery. This position offers an opportunity to be a leader for change, supporting individuals through challenging times. AMFM Healthcare was founded with a mission to prevent tragedies caused by untreated mental illness, creating a place where individuals struggling with severe mental health conditions receive support, treatment, and hope. Their adult residential program, A Mission For Michael, offers a personal, compassionate healing experience in residential homes with 6-8 clients per home, providing 24/7 care. The program blends individual and group therapy with experiential therapies like art, music, and equine therapy, and prioritizes understanding each client's life story to craft unique treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checks
  • Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs
  • Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff
  • Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring a structured and supportive environment
  • Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments
  • Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams
  • Work with the nursing team to oversee medication self-administration
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities
  • Lead and document recovery-focused group sessions
  • Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety drills, and respond to crises as needed
