Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT)
About The Position
ASI-NE is hiring Mental Health Rehabilitation Technicians (MHRTs) to support adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses in home and community settings. The role focuses on helping people build independence, participate in their communities, learn daily living skills, reach personal goals, enjoy meaningful activities, and navigate life with support and encouragement. The MHRT serves as a coach, advocate, cheerleader, and trusted support person. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Positions are in Kennebec County and Androscoggin County, and all training takes place in Androscoggin County. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel are required.
Requirements
- Age 18 or older.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
- Dependable attendance.
- Willingness to attend required trainings and team meetings.
- Positive, team-focused attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with autism, intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or personal care is helpful but not required.
- Active CRMA.
- Clean driving record.
