About The Position

Arisa Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join its school-based program in Mountain Home. The role provides behavioral health services, including assessing clients’ mental health needs and delivering individual, family conjoint, and group therapy. The position is full-time and exempt (salaried), reports to the Program Coordinator, and follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. It provides outpatient, crisis and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children’s and adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.

Requirements

Master's degree in counseling or social work.
Current Arkansas license: LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW, or LCSW.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.

Nice To Haves

Experience providing services in a behavioral health organization or with a community mental health or healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

Interview and assess clients for mental health needs.
Provide individual, family conjoint, and group therapy services.
Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to help them understand personal problems and define goals.
Plan activities to assess aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics as they relate to personal and social concerns and educational progress.
