About The Position

Arisa Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional for its school-based program in Mountain Home. The role provides mental health assessment, counseling, and therapy services to individuals, families, and groups, and maintains accurate clinical records. The position is full-time, exempt (salaried), and reports to the Program Coordinator. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. It provides outpatient, crisis and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children’s and adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.

Requirements

• Master's degree in counseling or social work.
• Current Arkansas license: LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW, or LCSW.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
• Experience providing services in a behavioral health organization or with a community mental health or healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess clients for mental health needs.
• Provide individual, family conjoint, and group therapy services.
• Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
• Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to help them understand personal problems and define goals.
• Plan activities to assess aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics in relation to personal, social, and educational concerns.
