The Mental Health Professional provides clinical services to individuals under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor or Mental Health Director. They conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidenced-based psychotherapeutic interventions. Additionally, they provide mental health consultation and training to facility staff. The schedule for this position is every Saturday and Sunday from 7am-5:30pm. Qualified applicants must possess one of the following active licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Non-independent licenses such as an LPC-IT or APSW will be considered with relevant experience. Applicants should have experience working with adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. Prior crisis experience and assessing suicide risk is also necessary. Must be flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities as situations arise.
