Mental Health Professional - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT
About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections and is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join its team at Lowell Correctional Institution in Ocala, Florida. The role provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care. Services include intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and individual and group therapy. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Salary is $70,000 for registered interns and $80,000 for fully licensed professionals, plus benefits.
Requirements
- Master's-level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited educational institution.
- Active Florida mental health professional license as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- Active Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two years' experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness.
