About The Position
CHE Behavioral is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide behavioral health services to residents of long-term care and rehabilitation centers in Carthage, New York. The role focuses on improving patient outcomes, quality of life, and overall well-being through compassionate, high-quality care. The position is offered as full-time and part-time work.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
- Licensure as a Psychologist, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and promoting overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy to patients with various mental health diagnoses.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify patients’ mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient encounters and treatment plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and share best practices.
