About The Position
CHE Behavioral is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide behavioral health services to residents of long-term care and rehabilitation centers in Catskill, New York. The role serves older adults and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team of licensed professionals, with the goal of providing high-quality care, increasing access to mental health services, and reducing stigma. Therapy sessions may be conducted in person or remotely as needed. Full-time and part-time schedules are offered.
Requirements
- Hold a qualifying license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist.
- Have experience providing mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy.
- Facilitate therapy sessions in person and remotely as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan continued care.
- Stay up to date with developments and best practices in mental health care.
