Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other related mental health discipline
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the State of practice – e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist - Must maintain all licensures, certifications, continuing educational requirements, etc.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with crisis management, severe mental illness, brief, solution focused interventions, substance use and withdrawal awareness, boundary setting & manipulation awareness, interdisciplinary collaboration, and emotional resilience.
  • Focus on 5150/5250 mechanics, Title 15 & BSCC Standards, and CalAIM continuity of care.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) or more years of experience preferred.
  • Experience with substance use disorders and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical, consultation, and counseling services in accordance with policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments and complete treatment plans, including ASAM tools when needed.
  • Respond to sick call requests, referrals, and provide crisis intervention services.
  • Complete required clinical documentation and document services in CorEMR as appropriate.
  • Support pre-release planning, quality assurance activities, and provide training and consultation to staff.
