The Mental Health Professional provides direct clinical services to persons served under the direction of clinical leadership. The role conducts mental health screenings and assessments, completes treatment plans, and delivers individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services. The position completes clinical documentation, supports pre-release planning for CalAIM-eligible individuals, and provides training, consultation, and information to facility staff as required. Candidates should be comfortable with crisis management, severe mental illness, brief, solution focused interventions, substance use and withdrawal awareness, boundary setting & manipulation awareness, interdisciplinary collaboration, and emotional resilience. In addition, we focus heavily on 5150/5250 mechanics, Title 15 & BSCC Standards, and CalAIM continuity of care.
