About The Position

Arisa Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional for its Adult Outpatient department in Springdale, Arkansas. The role provides outpatient behavioral health services, including client assessments, individual, family conjoint, and group therapy, as well as counseling and appraisal services. The position is full-time, exempt (salaried), works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and reports to the Program Coordinator. It delivers outpatient, crisis and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children’s and adult services, medical services, and residential services across 41 Arkansas counties. Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
Current Arkansas license: LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW, or LCSW.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
Experience providing services in a behavioral health organization, or experience with a community mental health or healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

Interview and assess clients for mental health needs.
Provide individual, family conjoint, and group therapy services.
Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to help them understand personal problems, define goals, and plan activities.
Assess aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics in relation to personal and social concerns and educational progress.
