About The Position

Lenape Valley Foundation is expanding its crisis services with the launch of its second Crisis Residential Program at the new Bright Path Center in Doylestown, PA. This program will serve both adults and children. As a Mental Health Professional on the Crisis Residential Team, you will support individuals and families during acute psychiatric crises, providing stabilization, structure, and compassionate care in a short-term residential setting. Requirements

Master’s degree in a related field + 3 years of direct care experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of direct care experience
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Bucks County
May be required to work during emergencies, including inclement weather
Proficiency in Electronic Health Records and basic computer skills
Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

Provide crisis stabilization, de-escalation, and therapeutic support in the least restrictive setting.
Monitor guests for changes in mood, behavior, or safety risk and respond appropriately.
Maintain vigilance and respond to emergencies to ensure guest and site safety.
Conduct scheduled check-ins and support crisis stabilization goals.
Complete intakes, assessments, consents, and crisis/safety plans.
Support individualized treatment goals and discharge planning.
Provide ongoing assessment, crisis counseling, problem-solving, and skill-building.
Advocate for guests’ rights, preferences, and recovery goals.
Facilitate psychoeducational and skills-based group sessions.
Set group agendas, encourage participation, and foster therapeutic communication.
Educate guests and supports on treatment interventions and expected outcomes.
Communicate clinical observations with the treatment team.
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with families, community providers, and supports.
Work closely with clinical staff on ongoing evaluation of treatment progress.
Complete timely, accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
Assist with service coordination and aftercare planning.
Support facilities operations and milieu safety as needed.
