About The Position

Centurion Forensic Health Services (FHS) is currently seeking a part-time Mental Health Court Clinician (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC) to join the Trial Courts Specialty Court Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Schedule: 20 Hours Per Week, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm working 2 and 1/2 days per week; flexible with schedule

Requirements

Current and active license in the state of Massachusetts: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC (other credentials may be considered)
Demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills
Have experience working with individuals with mental health disorders and co-occurring disorders
Be able to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
Be willing to travel within the State
Possess a valid driver’s license
Pass a background check

Responsibilities

Clinical screening of all Mental Health Court referrals using evidence based substance abuse assessment tools
Motivational interviewing and client centered treatment planning
Outreach and Referrals to treatment programs
Case management and regular contact with participants using evidence based approaches to support recovery and reduce recidivism in partnership with probation (who supervise court-ordered conditions) and other criminal justice personnel
Work collaboratively with community providers to obtain weekly reports of participant’s status
Provide weekly testimony to the court on participants’ status
Data collection and maintenance of Mental Health Court files
Organization of participant’s graduation, drug court meetings, and community presentations as requested.
