About The Position

This role is responsible for the day-to-day clinical oversight of the CCS program to ensure quality patient care that is consistent with regulatory agency standards and evidence-based practices for addiction treatment. Working with the CBHC Nurse Manager and under the direction of the Program Director, and in his/her absence, assumes responsibility for the daily operation of the program.

Must demonstrate ability to relate to the CCS population in a sensitive manner, an interest and willingness to work in a multicultural setting, and must share a customer service orientation.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
Manages difficult or emotional client situations; responds promptly to client needs and maintains confidentiality.
Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills.
Writes clearly and informatively.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from consumers, regulatory agencies, or other service providers.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, rehabilitative counseling, or a closely related field required.

LMHC or LICSW license preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides supervision and consultation as needed to mental health counselors and peer specialists, including monitoring milieu acuity and assigning client tasks, as appropriate.
Assures development of a treatment plan and crisis response plan for clients as needed.
Reviews clinical documentation to assure full compliance with federal, state, and program regulations and stipulations as well as private payers and accreditation if applicable.
Oversees the Quality Assurance program.
Provides regularly scheduled supervision to program staff, reviewing group dynamics and developing strategies to maximize client continuation and compliance.
Develops in-service training for staff.
In collaboration with the Senior Director of the CBHC and the CBHC Medical Director, conducts ongoing review of the clinical program design and implements recommendations for improvement.
Develops and monitors group curriculum using evidence-based techniques to meet the needs of clients served in the program.
Participates in the hiring, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling of staff as assigned.
Attends and participates in internal team meetings as required as well as external stakeholder meetings.
Shares in on-call responsibilities for the program, as applicable.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
