About The Position

Riverside Community Care is seeking energetic, passionate, confident, and skilled workers for a Mental Health Unit Coordinator role in a unique Clubhouse environment. This role offers a vibrant, fun, and challenging atmosphere where you will work one-on-one and in groups. The ideal candidate will be motivated to help others in activities such as social and event planning, fundraising, health and wellness activities, food services, advocacy, and other manual and clerical tasks. The Unit Coordinator is responsible for engaging Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse, assisting them with employment, education, community resources, and finding their voice. This role involves creating and organizing evening, weekend, holiday, and special events, as well as organizing exercise opportunities and Health & Wellness educational forums to promote a healthier lifestyle for members.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills
• Driver's license required

Nice To Haves

• BA/BS and/or relevant experience preferred
• Clubhouse experience, community based programs, or Recovery Learning Community a plus
• Individuals with a lived experience of mental health challenges are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Engaging Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse.
• Working side-by-side with members to assist with navigating employment, education, community resources and finding a voice.
• Creating and organizing evening, weekend, holiday, and special events.
• Assisting members live a healthier lifestyle through organizing exercise opportunities and Health & Wellness educational forums.
• Promoting and offering a good health program to all members to live a healthier lifestyle.
