About The Position

Colorado Women's Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled EMDR Therapist/Counselor to join their dedicated team. This role specializes in providing evidence-based therapy to individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other related mental health challenges. The therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized EMDR treatment plans, and guide clients through EMDR sessions. Additionally, they will provide individual one-on-one therapy sessions. The position offers a steady flow of referrals, allowing for a full client load quickly, and includes base pay during the initial build-up phase. Therapists have flexibility in setting their own session times and can build a caseload of 20-25 client hours or more per week. The center's specialties include anxiety, work-life balance, depression, relationships, attachment issues, trauma, self-esteem, body image, social media addiction, couples counseling, and EMDR. Clients range from teen to senior stages of life. Therapists are trained in various modalities including EMDR, Couples Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy. Colorado Women's Center is committed to female empowerment, aiming to help women of all ages find self-acceptance through therapy and counseling. The organization has locations in Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, Broomfield, and Longmont. Requirements

  • A graduate-level psychological counseling-related degree.
  • A license that is currently active in the state of Colorado.
  • PhD or PsyD
  • Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Marriage/Family Therapist (LMFT, MFTC)
  • Social Worker Candidate (SWC)
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC)

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and therapy services to Colorado Women’s Center clients in person and online.
  • Provide consultations.
  • Conduct assessments.
  • Intake screenings for new clients.
  • Write client notes and other necessary documentation.
  • Client Scheduling.
  • Attend staff and professional development meetings as scheduled.
