Colorado Women's Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled EMDR Therapist/Counselor to join their dedicated team. This role specializes in providing evidence-based therapy to individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other related mental health challenges. The therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized EMDR treatment plans, and guide clients through EMDR sessions to process distressing memories. Individual one-on-one therapy sessions will also be provided, offering personalized support. The center values therapists with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to professional development, and a dedication to client well-being. The position offers a steady flow of referrals, allowing for a quick build-up of a full client load, with base pay provided during this period. Therapists can set their own session times, offering schedule flexibility. The center's specialties include anxiety, work-life balance, depression, relationships, attachment issues, trauma, self-esteem, body image, social media addiction, couples counseling, and EMDR, serving clients across various life stages. Therapists are trained in modalities such as EMDR, Couples Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy.
