As a Bachelor Level Mental Health Counselor with Adult Intensive Services, you will play a vital role in walking alongside clinicians and clients during some of the most critical moments of their recovery journey. You’ll provide strength-based, person-centered care by developing individualized service plans, monitoring treatment progress, and ensuring timely, accurate clinical documentation. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships while delivering trauma-informed care. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to ensure coordinated, seamless support across systems of care. This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, counseling, or another human services degree.
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with mental/behavioral health challenges.
  • A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
  • Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing behavioral health assessments to identify client needs and treatment goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to ensure client safety and stabilization.
  • Deliver high-quality individuals, family, and group therapy to individuals with primary mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized, strength-based service plans that promote recovery and resilience.
  • Monitor treatment progress and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records and complete all required reporting.
  • Provide case management services, connecting clients to community resources and supportive services.
  • Coordinate care with internal teams and external providers to ensure integrated, client-centered treatment.
  • Collaborate regularly with clinical supervisors, multidisciplinary team members, and psychiatrists to support effective care planning.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
