About The Position

Provide individual and group clinical supervision to AMFTs and/or ASWs, APCC in accordance with California BBS regulations. Review and monitor clinical documentation, treatment plans, progress notes, and case management activities. Review, edit and provide feedback on Educationally Related Mental Health evaluation reports prior to signing off. Ensure supervises maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional codes of conduct. Support supervises in developing clinical skills, therapeutic interventions, crisis response strategies, and case conceptualization. Mentor and coach clinicians through licensure requirements and professional growth. Provide constructive feedback, performance guidance, and ongoing clinical support. Assist in developing training materials and professional development opportunities. Promote evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care approaches. Ensure supervision practices comply with California BBS requirements. Maintain accurate supervision records and documentation. Requirements

  • Active California license as either: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
  • Minimum of two (2) years licensed and eligible to provide clinical supervision under California BBS regulations.
  • Experience supervising AMFTs and/or ASWs, APPCs preferred.
  • Knowledge of school-based mental health services and special education environments.
  • Strong understanding of ethical, legal, and professional standards.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be a licensed mental health professional (i.e. Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
  • Experience supporting students with disabilities and special education populations.
  • Training in trauma-informed practices, crisis intervention, or behavioral health programs.
  • Previous leadership, management, or program development experience.
  • Five years clinical experience preferred.
