About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Mental Health Clerk to join their team at the Missouri Sex Offender Program (MOSOP) at Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, Missouri. This role is responsible for the routine processing of documents within the Mental Health Department, ensuring accuracy in creating, organizing, scanning, faxing, and filing. The clerk will also review documents for correctness and completeness, addressing any issues. General clerical duties such as maintaining calendars and scheduling appointments are also part of the role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification
- Computer/Data Entry experience
- Ability to obtain security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- One year of medical records/medical office experience
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion
Responsibilities
- Routine processing of documents in the Mental Health Department according to prescribed procedures.
- Accurately creating, organizing, scanning, faxing, and/or filing files to facilitate retrieval, review, and processing.
- Reviewing all documents/transactions for correctness and completeness and taking necessary action to address problems, errors, or deficiencies.
- Performing general clerical duties such as maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences.
