This position has primary responsibility for providing oversight and care management to the clients referred to Star View programs. The Case Manager will provide services that may include case management/linkage, assessments, screenings, treatment planning/monitoring, and rehabilitation services to the clients and their families. Programs include High Fidelity Wraparound services, Comprehensive Behavioral & Social Support Services, and Crisis response, utilizing a team-based approach. The population served includes Children, Youth, and Families battling trauma, mental illness, neglect, or substance abuse. Clinical services offered are Trauma-informed care, mental health treatment, behavioral interventions, and parental skill enhancement. The average length of stay is 18 months, focusing on Strengths-based empowerment, resilience building, and long-term recovery/re-integration support, including family support, skill development, advocacy, and comprehensive community resources.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of six (6) years of direct service experience in the mental health field.
  • Associate degree with a minimum of four (4) years of direct service experience in the mental health field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in the mental health field.
  • Valid California Driver's License (must meet agency criteria).
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).
