About The Position

This position has primary responsibility for providing oversight and care management to the clients referred to Star View programs. The Case Manager will provide services that may include case management/linkage, assessments, screenings, treatment planning/monitoring, and rehabilitation services to the clients and their families. The program serves children, youth, and families battling trauma, mental illness, neglect, or substance abuse, utilizing a multidisciplinary, team-based approach with trauma-informed care, mental health treatment, behavioral interventions, and parental skill enhancement. The average length of stay is 18 months, focusing on strengths-based empowerment, resilience building, long-term recovery/re-integration support, family support, skill development, advocacy, and comprehensive community resources.

Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of six (6) years of direct service experience in the mental health field.
Associate degree with a minimum of four (4) years of direct service experience in the mental health field.
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in the mental health field.
Valid California Driver's License (must meet agency criteria).
Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).
