About The Position
Experienced and aspiring mental health professionals are encouraged to consider a full-time Competency Education Trainer position with Liberty Healthcare. This position will be an active contributor with Liberty’s specialized forensic mental health program based at the Robert Presley Detention Center – a Riverside County jail located in Riverside, CA. Liberty’s program provides timely and comprehensive mental health care and restoration services to adults who are found to be incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness.
Requirements
- Work onsite at the Robert Presley Detention Facility at 4000 Orange St. in Riverside, CA 92501
- Weekday schedule with daytime hours
- Option to work either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days
Responsibilities
- Delivering structured curriculum to individuals and small groups
- Documenting services and client progress
- Participating in clinical team meetings
- Collaborating with jail security staff and medical and clinical professionals
