About The Position
Grand Canyon University is a private, nondenominational Christian University located in Phoenix, Arizona. The Athletic Department is dedicated to helping student-athletes achieve excellence, fostering integrity and personal growth through intercollegiate sports. This role invites individuals passionate about impacting the student-athlete experience and advancing the mission of GCU Athletics to join the Men's Soccer team as a Volunteer Coach.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Nice To Haves
- Playing experience amateur, collegiate, professional level
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Assist coaching staff in all areas
- On field/court coaching and demonstration for team and/or individual practices
- Coaching on court during home and away tournaments/matches
- Preparation of team matches including travel
- Assist with administrative duties, including recruiting as allowed within NCAA rules
- Video Analysis
