About The Position

Scheels is seeking a Full-Time Men's Shoe Manager who will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining expert-level product knowledge, managing inventory, and ensuring merchandise is accurately displayed. The ideal candidate will contribute to a culture of customer focus, teamwork, continuous learning, and ownership. This role involves direct customer engagement, sales, and maintaining the visual standards of the department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to perform basic math; perform operations using units of currency, measurements, and understand percentages.
• Ability to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by seeking out and engaging with customers, going through the steps of the sale to determine their needs, recommending appropriate products, and promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card
• Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas, as well as lead product knowledge training for other associates
• Consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience
• Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports
• Effectively maintain an organized backstock while ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floor
• Ensures their product is accurately displayed to customers through price tagging, sales stickers, and signage
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere
• Communicate professionally with other associates within the store, the Scheels Campus, and Vendors/Sales Representatives
• Ensures their work area is clean, organized, and meets safety standards
• Ability to perform basic math; perform operations using units of currency, measurements, and understand percentages
• Ability to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Including product knowledge meetings
