About The Position

Big Canyon Country Club is hiring a Men’s Locker Room Attendant to provide professional, welcoming service to members and guests while keeping locker room facilities clean, organized, and properly stocked. The attendant maintains locker bays, restrooms, showers, and vanity areas; looks after member items; and helps ensure the locker room meets club standards. The role requires building and maintaining effective relationships with members and team members, responding to satisfaction concerns, and communicating complaints promptly to a supervisor. The position is full-time at the club’s headquarters in Newport Beach, California, with an hourly salary range of $22.00–$24.00. Weekend and holiday work is required, and A.M. and P.M. flexibility is preferred.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 5 hours.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members and members.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and professional manner.

Nice To Haves

Country club experience is highly desired.
A.M. and P.M. flexibility is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain locker room bays, restrooms, showers, and vanity areas.
Stock locker room areas with appropriate amenities.
Take responsibility for member items.
Set up stations and perform assigned side work.
Check for member and guest satisfaction.
Advise a supervisor of complaints as soon as they occur.
Ensure the locker room meets club standards.
Perform cleanup and closing duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
Perform other duties or projects as assigned or requested by a supervisor.
Maintain effective relationships with members and earn their trust and respect.
Work cooperatively and professionally with other departments.
Maintain a pleasant and polite manner and a neat, clean appearance, and conduct oneself professionally.
