About The Position

We are looking for a Memory Server System Testing Intern in San Jose, CA. This internship is for Summer 2026, from June 22 to August 14. The intern will assist in system-level testing, duplication, verification, and troubleshooting of customer RMA issues, including DIMM modules, DDR, I2C/I3C Hub, Temperature Sensors, or other integrated circuits. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (FAE, Test, Product, QA, DE, and Marketing) to understand and resolve customer-reported issues. The intern will use servers, client PCs, and lab equipment like oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers for troubleshooting, functional verification, and system performance benchmarking. Responsibilities also include documenting test setups, results, and findings, and contributing to the improvement of FA turnaround time. Additionally, the intern will contribute to the development and enhancement of automated system test scripts to streamline troubleshooting and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled full time as a rising senior pursuing a bachelor degree.
  • Must not have graduated before September 2026
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits, semiconductor devices, and computer architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with various computer operating system i. e. Windows, Linux and memory test applications software for system level memory testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment and measurement techniques for silicon validation, including oscilloscopes, Power Supply, and Data Timing Generator.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or scripting languages for test automation and data analysis.
  • Hands-On Experience with Python test automation equipment such programmable power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of silicon validation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the system level testing, duplication, verification and troubleshooting customer’s RMA which includes DIMM modules, DDR, I2C/I3C Hub, Temperature Sensors or other integrated circuits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FAE, Test, Product, QA, DE and Marketing to understand, duplicate and troubleshoot customer’s reported issues.
  • Utilize servers, client PC, lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, protocol analyzer and other test instruments to duplicate, troubleshoot customer’s reported issues and perform product functional verification and system performance benchmarking.
  • Document system test setup/environment, results, and findings in detailed engineering reports and contribute to improvement of FA turnaround time.
  • Contributes to the development and enhancement of automated system test scripts to streamline the troubleshooting process and improve efficiency.
