About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, licensed nurse with strong clinical leadership and Director-level experience to lead our small, stand-alone Memory Care community. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about serving residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and building meaningful partnerships with their families. The ideal candidate brings proven clinical leadership, strong tenure, and a passion for mentoring and developing caregivers while creating a culture centered on appreciation, staff retention, accountability, and exceptional quality of care. You will work closely with residents, families, and the care team to ensure each resident receives compassionate, individualized care and support. As Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will utilize your leadership qualities to inspire, lead and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents. You will proactively build relationships with residents, families, physicians and other healthcare providers for the coordination of exceptional personalized care. You will consistently collaborate with community leadership, mentor and engage your associates and build resident and family satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Licensed RN or LPN with strong clinical leadership experience
  • Experienced at the Director level or in a similar senior clinical leadership role
  • Passionate about Alzheimer’s and dementia care
  • Hands-on and comfortable working directly with residents and families
  • A strong mentor who develops, trains, and inspires staff
  • Committed to building a culture of appreciation, retention, teamwork, and quality care
  • Education as required to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)
  • Driver’s license
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Clinical leadership experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft office suite and electronic documentation.

  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and respond when needed.
