About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and empathetic Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Active Adult Community in Solon, Ohio. This part-time role focuses on creating human connections with residents, understanding their unique needs and interests, and setting the stage for a positive daily experience. You will partner with residents throughout their day, document their care, and assist with orienting new team members to the memory care neighborhoods. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, have a positive attitude, and possess basic computer skills.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, event spaces, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
