About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Boulevard St Charles. This part-time role involves creating human connections with residents, understanding their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for their daily experiences. You will partner with residents throughout their day, document their care, and assist with orienting new team members. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, and have a positive, energetic attitude. Computer skills are necessary for documentation and printing. This role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and after falls. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, activity areas, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
