About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Active Adult Community at Rockside in Seven Hills, Ohio. This part-time role focuses on providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, observing their interests and abilities, and implementing engagement strategies to ensure their well-being. This includes setting the stage for a successful day by preparing the environment, partnering with residents throughout their daily lives, and accurately documenting their care and any changes in condition. You will also assist with orienting new team members to the memory care environment.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments through empathy.
Observe residents' interests, abilities, and unique characteristics to develop appropriate engagement plans.
Implement strategies with patience to ensure resident success and well-being.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing the dining room, activity areas, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
