About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Hudson Grande Senior Living. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $18.00-$24.00 per hour. As a Memory Care Support Partner, you will be an "Advocate of Empathy," creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. You will also be a "Patient Observer," understanding residents' interests and abilities to create engagement plans. Additionally, you will be a "Master of the Mise en Scène," responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for various activities and routines. You will also act as a "Life Partner," assisting residents with all facets of their daily lives from morning to night, and be responsible for documenting resident care and changes in condition, as well as assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
  • Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up activity spaces and preparing resident rooms.
  • Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
  • Document resident care and changes in condition.
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
