Memory Care Support Partner 7pm-7am $15-24.75 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Ridgemere in Conway, AR. This part-time role involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, developing engagement plans, and ensuring a positive daily experience for residents, from preparing dining areas to assisting with nighttime routines. The role also includes documenting resident care, assisting with team member orientations, and partnering with residents throughout their daily lives.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
- Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, including preparing dining rooms, setting up for events, and preparing resident rooms for their nighttime routine.
- Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
- Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
