About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights. This role is crucial in creating a supportive and engaging environment for residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for fostering human connection, understanding individual resident needs, and guiding them through their daily experiences with empathy and patience. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of life for our residents.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be an Advocate of Empathy: Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Be a Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be a Master of the Mise en Scène: Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms and event spaces to preparing resident rooms for their nighttime routine.
Be a Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
