About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Westbury in Columbia, MO. This full-time position operates on the night shift, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. As a Memory Care Support Partner, you will be an Advocate of Empathy, creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. You will also be a Patient Observer, discovering residents' interests and abilities to create appropriate engagement plans. A Master of the Mise en Scène, you will be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for meals, events, and resident routines. You will act as a Life Partner, assisting residents with all facets of their daily lives. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting resident care and changes in condition, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
