About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and empathetic Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Active Adult Community in North Royalton, Ohio. This part-time role focuses on creating human connection with residents, understanding their unique needs, and ensuring a positive daily experience. You will be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, assisting residents with daily life activities, and documenting their care. This role also involves orienting new team members to the memory care neighborhoods.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Understand the importance of empathy.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
