About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Fremont in Springfield, MO. This part-time role involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, developing engagement plans, preparing the environment for daily activities, and partnering with residents throughout their day. This role also includes documenting resident care and assisting with the orientation of new team members. As an Advocate of Empathy, you will foster human connection during vulnerable moments. As a Patient Observer, you will identify resident interests and abilities to create effective engagement strategies. The Master of the Mise en Scène aspect involves setting the stage for a successful resident experience, from dining to activities to nighttime routines. As a Life Partner, you will support residents in all facets of their daily lives.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, activity areas, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
