About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Fremont in Springfield, MO. This part-time role involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding resident needs, developing engagement plans, preparing the environment for daily activities, and partnering with residents throughout their day. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to assist with orienting new team members are also key aspects of this position. We are looking for individuals who are patient, observant, and genuinely love working with seniors.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments through empathy.
Observe residents to discover their interests, abilities, and unique characteristics.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, activity areas, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
