About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Stow. This full-time position involves providing empathetic care and creating meaningful connections with residents in our memory care neighborhoods. You will be responsible for understanding residents' interests and abilities, developing engagement plans, and guiding residents through their daily experiences, from preparing their environment to assisting with their nighttime routines. A key part of this role is accurately documenting resident care and changes in condition, as well as assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments through empathy.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and unique characteristics.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing the dining room, library, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with the orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
