About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. This full-time role involves creating human connections with residents, observing their interests and abilities, and setting the stage for their daily experiences. You will partner with residents throughout their day, document their care, and assist with orienting new team members in memory care neighborhoods. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to communicate effectively in English, computer skills, and the physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. You must also be at least 18 years old and have a clean criminal record.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up events and preparing resident rooms for their nighttime routine.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
