Memory Care Support Partner 6pm-6am $18-27 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Vitalia Montrose in Copley, OH. This full-time position offers a pay range of $18 - $27 per hour and involves a unique shift schedule: Week 1 includes Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, while Week 2 includes Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, all from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. As a Memory Care Support Partner, you will be an Advocate of Empathy, creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. You will also be a Patient Observer, discovering residents’ interests and abilities to collaborate on engagement plans. Additionally, you will be a Master of the Mise en Scène, responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for various activities and routines. You will act as a Life Partner, assisting residents with all facets of their daily lives from waking to sleeping, and be proficient in documenting resident care and changes in condition. A key part of this role is assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
- Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
- Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments for various activities and routines.
- Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
- Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
- Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
