About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Hudson Grande Senior Living in Hudson, Ohio. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $18.00-$24.00 per hour. We are looking for individuals who can create human connection with residents, understand their interests and abilities, and help set the stage for a successful day. The role involves partnering with residents throughout their daily lives, documenting care, and assisting with team member orientation. Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care across 6 states and employs nearly 2,200 individuals.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
• Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
• Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
• Be responsible for setting the stage for a successful day, from preparing dining rooms to setting up activity spaces and preparing resident rooms.
• Partnering with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
• Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
