About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Support Partner to join our team at Township in Battlefield, MO. This full-time position involves creating human connections with residents, observing their interests and abilities to develop engagement plans, and setting the stage for a successful day by preparing environments. The role also includes partnering with residents in daily life activities, documenting resident care, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods. We are looking for individuals who are at least eighteen years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, can communicate effectively in English, and have a positive, energetic attitude. Computer skills for documentation and printing are necessary. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Assistance with resident mobility and post-fall support is also a key responsibility. Candidates must be criminally cleared.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Observe residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are.
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
Set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments such as dining rooms, event spaces, and resident rooms.
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
