About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Homemaker to join our team at Vitalia Senior Residences- Westlake. This role is responsible for creating an inviting, comfortable, and tidy atmosphere in memory care apartments and common areas. The Homemaker will also assist with family-style dining, ensuring residents are involved in setting tables and cleaning up. Additionally, the role involves ensuring residents have access to snacks and hydration, and providing engagement and meaningful experiences for residents in the Neighborhood.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Shall have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Shall be professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Creating an atmosphere in memory care that is inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy in all apartments and common area spaces.
  • Preparing and serving family-style dining, guiding residents to be a part of their own experience by setting the tables and cleaning up together after as a family.
  • Ensuring all residents are guided to snacks and hydration three times a day.
  • Engaging residents and providing meaningful experiences as extra hands in the Neighborhood.
