Memory Care Coordinator - LPN/RN - Cardinal View Senior Living
About The Position
Cardinal View Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a compassionate and passionate Memory Care Coordinator to join their growing team. Cardinal View Senior Living, which opened in the fall of 2021, is a 104-unit, apartment-style community offering Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The Memory Care Coordinator will lead, direct, and assist in the overall operations of the memory care unit, focusing on the physical and social well-being of residents while adhering to government regulations and company policies. This role is open to new graduates.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an LPN/RN
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform rounds in memory care to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the proper completion and documentation of care, medications, and treatments for memory care residents.
- Support the Director of Health Services on the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the memory care resident/tenant population.
