About The Position

Cardinal View Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Nurse Manager to join their team. Cardinal View Senior Living, which opened in the fall of 2021, is a 104-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents, and will share responsibility for daily clinical operations. The role is for Full Time Days, with manager on-site rotation. The community is proud to be locally owned and named in honor of the Middleton Area High School Cardinals.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two years’ management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
Assist with developing and implementing the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and client population.
Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
